Caniya Nykia Means  better known as "Caniya Nykia"Born in Montgomery Alabama move to Atlanta,Georgia as a baby. Caniya Nykia comes froma single parent household with 3 other siblings, her mom working 6 days a week to make ends meet. As a young child Caniya Nykia always wanted to be a Role Model in the community, she wanted to make a difference.

At age of 8 years old Caniya Nykia began modeling in local fashion shows produced by her Mom who owned a Publication called Spotlight Magazine. A special friend of Caniya Nykia Mom, Derricious Chambers took notice in Caniya Nykia walk and took her under his wing and start training her and teaching her how to post and walk better.  She also work with Ira Ira out of Birmingham for better posing.

 

Caniya Nykia Mom always took time out of her busy work schedule to allow Caniya Nykia  to follow her modeling dreams.  Throughout her travels being involved in many fashion events, social gatherings,television appearances, with the guidance and support of motivated and influential people. Caniya Nykia has made a name for herself over the last 9 years.

While not on the runway or volunteering at Nursing homes,, Caniya Nykia is a member of The BrownGirls InternationalOther hobbies are playing on her school’s band as a flute player,shopping ,playing in makeup and hanging with her sisters & friends.
